After 20 years, ASID is bringing back its one-of-a-kind national student summit, a multi-day convention for interior design students. The interactive experience will include top notch break-out sessions, hands-on engagement opportunities, professional development, networking events, and much more.
Check out the top three reasons not to miss this unique opportunity on February 26-28, 2016 at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Ga.
- Advance Your Professional Development
Students will learn about the various career paths available to those with an interior design degree. Back-to-back sessions will focus on workplace, healthcare, hospitality and retail, residential, and institutional (learning environments, government) design.
- Earn Yourself an Internship
Top portfolios from the ASID Student Portfolio Competition will be selected and the students behind them will be invited to attend an exclusive portfolio track at LAUNCH. Students will be asked to present their portfolio to top firm representatives in the hopes of procuring a 2016 summer or fall internship.
- Build Your Network
Students from across the country, representing numerous ASID student chapters, will connect with their peers and explore strategies on how to transition successfully from education to practice.
The 2016 LAUNCH: The ASID National Student Summit, hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), will partner with industry experts, academics, manufacturers, designers, entrepreneurs, and more to bring knowledge and inspiration to the future generation of interior designers.
